Got a Premium subscription, but not a VPN Super account yet? Follow these steps to create an account, so signing in on your Apple TV is easy.
Generally, the fastest VPN location is the one that is closest to your actual location. The longer the distance, the slower the internet speed, and vice versa. If you are using a VPN to stream with fewer interruptions, connecting to the nearest server is typically the best for speed.
That said, if you’re connecting to a specific country’s catalog—for example, the US library on a streaming platform—you’ll need to pick a server in that country. In that case, choose the US server with the lowest ping for the fastest connection. Ping is shown next to each server in the app, and a lower number means a quicker response time.
By default, VPN Super will recommend the fastest server based on your actual location. To change the server location:
