Fox Sports not working with VPN
If you're having trouble streaming on Fox Sports with a VPN, these fixes should help.

Common reasons Fox Sports might not work with a VPN
- The server you're on is under load during a high-traffic window
- Fox Sports is detecting your VPN traffic and limiting playback
How to fix it
- Switch to a Premium server. Premium servers are optimized for streaming. If playback fails on your current server:
- Switch to a different server and use the ms latency value in the location list to pick the fastest one
- Try these recommended US servers: Atlanta / New York / Los Angeles / Chicago / Washington
- Try the browser instead of the app. Open foxsports.com in Chrome or Safari with VPN Super running. Browser playback is sometimes more reliable than the app when connection conditions vary.
- Refresh your connection. Disconnect and reconnect to VPN Super. Then quit the Fox Sports app and reopen it—this ensures it connects through the refreshed VPN session. If you're streaming on your browser, close and reopen the tab, or clear your browser cache.
- Note: If Fox Sports prompts you to share your location, don't allow it. If you've already granted access, you can remove it in your browser's settings for foxsports.com.
Experiencing slow or interrupted playback?
If Fox Sports loads but keeps buffering or dropping to a lower quality, the issue is likely connection speed rather than the VPN server itself.
Check your speed first. Run a speed test at speedtest.net with VPN Super connected. For smooth Fox Sports playback, you'll need at least 3Mbps for 720p, 6Mbps for 1080p, and 25Mbps for 4K streaming.
If your speed is below these thresholds, try:
- Switching to a server closer to your physical location. A shorter distance generally means lower latency and faster speeds. Use the ms latency value in the location list to compare servers.
- Switch from cellular to Wi-Fi. Mobile connections can be inconsistent, so a stable Wi-Fi connection will give you more reliable playback.
Does the Fox Sports app need a TV provider sign-in even with a VPN?
No. If you don't have a TV provider subscription, you can consider subscribing to Fox's direct streaming app, Fox One ($19.99/month), as it doesn't require a TV provider.
Still not working?
