Before troubleshooting the VPN itself, confirm that your internet connection is working normally without the app. Open a website or run a quick speed test to make sure your network is available.
If the internet works but the VPN does not connect, continue with the steps below. If the internet is unstable, fix that first because the VPN depends on an active network connection.

Open the app settings and try another protocol. Some networks restrict specific VPN connection methods, so switching protocols is often the fastest fix.
Go to Settings, open Protocol, and select another available option. Then return to the main screen and try to connect again.

A specific server may be temporarily overloaded or unavailable. Change to a nearby location and test the connection again.
On the main screen, tap the server picker, choose another location, and reconnect. If one country does not work, test a nearby region as well.

If the required permissions were denied, the VPN may not be able to create a secure connection. Check system prompts, network access, and battery restrictions.
On Android, review battery optimization and background restrictions. On iPhone, confirm that the VPN configuration was approved when the system prompt appeared.
If none of the steps above solve the issue, collect a short description of the problem, your device type, and the app version before contacting support.
This helps the support team diagnose the issue faster and avoids unnecessary back-and-forth.
