A direct HBO Max UK subscription at £4.99/month for Basic with Ads is cheaper still, but it skips the live Sky Atlantic feed.

In Germany, the WOW annual plan at €5.98/month undercuts the new HBO Max Germany service and includes a 7-day free trial — the only standing free trial we found in any major market for this season. In Australia, BINGE Basic with Ads at $10 AUD/month is the floor, with a $5 first-month promo on the Standard plan. In Canada, Crave Standard with Ads at $11.99 CAD/month is the entry point; the standing free trial that ran in 2024 is no longer available, but $3.99-for-three-months and similar promotional offers appear seasonally — check the Crave homepage before signing up.
